I knew it was coming! That's just reality. It was January 17th. I won't forget it anytime soon.
Rosi had a rough day! Therefore, Aunt Red had a rough day!
It started with her first bottle at about 9:45 when I could only get her to drink an ounce of milk. Crying soon followed and it just snowballed from there. I finally decided she had a tummy ache. That was at about 1:30. She needed a warm pack on her tummy. Oh my! What a difference. All I could think was, "Hello Stupid! Why didn't you do that sooner!!!" She went to sleep and ate and slept again.
It was after 3 when Ruby finally went down for her nap. That's about 1 hour too late. Who knew I could be on a schedule??
By the time my sis-in-law got home at 4:30 I was fried.......as in toasted.........stick a fork in me I'm done!!!
I lived to babysit another day. It was touch and go there for a while, but I survived somehow. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger....right?
God just showed me why I'm not a mom. I can't handle the truth!!!!!!
Oh my...well, you knew it was coming...but you also survived! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of a friend am I when all I can think of to say is...."Bet there will be a lot of days like this, and plenty worse too."
ReplyDeleteNo. I can't say anything like that. I just can't.
Good for you for making it through!!!!
