Well, this is definitely not gonna be a normal Christmas! Actually, we never have a "normal" holiday time anymore.
I wound up not going to sis#2's to help with new baby last weekend as planned. Things just didn't work. So, I thought I'd go Christmas afternoon or Saturday. The weather looks like it's not going to be good for travel, or at least not for me to travel! I'm gonna go ahead and leave on Wednesday. This will be the first time in 40 years I will not be with my parents on Christmas day. It feels strange just to say it. I'm sure it'll be fine and they won't even notice. They might enjoy the peace and quiet!
So I'll be in Eastern Oklahoma with my sister and her in-laws. That will be very strange! I told her I didn't have to go with them to her father-in-law's house on Christmas day. She said there was no way she was gonna leave me at her house all alone. I told her it might feel like a little mini vacation!! She agreed it might, but we both know I won't do that.
I'll let you know how it goes! I hope I don't make one of them mad. I'll try to keep my mouth shut. That'll never work, besides, they all know me to well for that.
